Tin (2648) did a very professional job of diagnosing the problem, and coming up with a way to solve it. Some of the pipes were 45 years old, which presented ... some challenges. He was able to resolve the problem with a minimum of disruption.

I am sorry that this ... email comes much later than it should have but I figured better late then never. On Thanksgiving last year (2013) my wife accidentally flushed she engagement ring and wedding band down the toilet in our home (she was cleaning them and while leaving them to dry in tissues she flushed the tissues….) She was heartbroken and we didn't think anyone would be able to recover it and were even unsure anyone open on Thanksgiving. We called several companies and only Roto-Rooter had someone on call with a video camera to give it a try. Mr. Derrick Allender went above and beyond. Initially on the first attempt he was unable to locate it. He said "lets give it another try," and after a couple attempts we saw what we thought may be the ring. He tracked it down and noticed that it was still in the pipes in our basement and then noticed that if he pushed the wring several feet it would be in the pipes in our closet. He called in for additional help to cut pipes in the closet and pushed the ring through. My wife was jumping up and down with tears in her eyes almost as if we were engaged again! Mr. Allender was persistent, professional, and courteous. All on a day when we spend time with families yet Mr. Allender was never is a rush and wanted to help us as much as he could. I have included a picture of the night my wife, Kristin, and I were engaged. Thanks to Mr. Allender we can continue to take such pictures! Thank you, Mr. Allender!

Had a clogged sewer line. Scheduled the online on Sat and Robert came out on time. He was very personable. It only took him about an hr to complete ... the job. Also have camera inspection of the line and that too was efficiently. Thanks a lot for everything. Will definitely be using the company in the future.

I had a very NASTY sewer back-up into my basement. I called the 800 number and was very pleasantly surprised that I got to talk to a real human....not ... a machine. Chris Jones (the plumber) actually arrived sooner than I expected on a Sunday afternoon in the middle of a Ravens game (AMAZING). He quickly assessed the problem and offered me options. He took care of a sewer line blockage and recommended and contacted Roto Rooter water restoration for clean up of a very NASTY mess. In one afternoon, the drain was cleared, and the bathroom and basement was sparkling and completely sanitized. I would definitely recommend this company.

As usual, their service was very well. They were prompt and everything was completed and we are very pleased with his work.

I could not wash clothes because the water drain very slowly. After the technician used the snake for about 45 minutes - The drain was cleared. He also checked and cleared the ... drain under the washing machine . I was then able to wash clothes in the washer and the water went through easily. He was not satisfied because the snake could not go completely through He recommended that i call the rotor rooter office to request a look at my pipes with a camera They called me to arrange an appointment. When the camera man came out two days later He knew that because my house is old the pipes are too small for a camera But i am pleased as always with Rotor rooter (i have used them for over 30 years) I can wash my clothes and even Though the snake would not go through my pipes were cleared enough . I purchased their product to be used monthly to help keep my drains clean ROTOR ROOTER ALWAYS GET THE JOB DONE! !! Thank you for your help!!

I went downstairs to the laundry room located in the basement. Once I loaded the washer, I went to use the toilet and saw that the water level was ... low and dirty. I flushed the toilet and low and behold, it began to run over. I immediately turned the water off and ran to get something to absorb the overflow. I remembered earlier in the week that I heard these unfamiliar noises in the bath tub when I would flush the toilet and unfamiliar noises when I would let the water out of the kitchen sink. I had used the services of Roto-Rooter just six months ago for this same problem. I placed a call hoping that they would come out on such short notice to address the problem and sure enough, I was told that someone would be out within the next two hours and sure enough, the Water Restoration team was at my door within that time frame. I just knew that I would be told within the next day or two. The next person on the scene was Greg Thompson. Greg came out when we had a problem back in March. Greg wen to work to locate the problem and once he did , he asked me to come down to the basement so that he could show me what the problem was, where the problem was and what was causing the problem. He cleaned the debris out of the pipe and advised me what should be done to avoid having the problem reoccur. When he finished, he cleaned the area where he worked so that all I had to do was to replace the items that we took out of the closet in order for him to get to what he needed to get too. I appreciate the fact that the each of the men covered their shoes before entering my home. The next team that came in took down some pieces of drywall and the wood around the baseboard. They informed me that they were cleaning the area to prevent mold and to remove the smell that had been created during the cleaning of the debris in the sewer. They also removed the wet blankets that I had put down to contain the water. I asked them if they wanted me to put them in my outside trash can. They thanked me but said "no", that they would take them. They then informed me that they were going to leave some equipment for approximately three days that would dry the area and take away the smell. There were a total of five men from Roto-Rooter today, each with a different task and each task. I felt comfortable interacting with them and asking them questions.They were professional, mannerly, and had great interpersonal skills. I am a stickler when it comes to cleaning up after ones self. I complemented how I liked the fact that they cleaned up behind themselves after they completed their tasks. One of the guys said that that was 80%of their job to make sure no messes were left behind. I have no complaints for "A JOB WELL DONE".

My plumber was excellent. His name was Sat Gin and he was very professional and efficient. He did a great job fixing and evaluating all 4 of the toilets in ... our house and gave helpful hints as well. I would definitely use him again.
