I got to 2 estimates; Roto Rooter and AJ Perri. I went with AJ Perri because they were two hundred dollars cheaper. My worst decision ever... They ... tried try to unclog my main drain. They attempted to snake but only reached 40-50 feet and said it hit mud and probably roots. They advised me I would need to have a clean out installed and then they would jet blast the drain. And since my main drain had mud in it, it was probably broken and needed to be replaced. They spent 3 days and dug 2 large holes in my yard looking for the pipe but were unsuccessful. Finally I called Roto Rooter back. The technician, Roderick stated he would attempt to snake the pipe and then place a camera to check out the situation. He worked very hard and successfully cleared the drain in less than 2 hours. (There was no mud or roots, just extremely large amounts of hair ... when you have 5 women in a house that can happen). Thank you so much, Roderick and Roto Rooter saved me thousands of dollars!!!! Roderick was great! He was very easy going and professional.
